Having drawn with the league leaders on Wednesday evening, Dartford were brought back to earth on Saturday, when they again had to come from behind to draw against bottom club, Sittingbourne.

The Darts started brightly and Chris Arnold had two shots on goal in the first ten minutes. The first after four minutes went over the crossbar but five minutes later his effort was spectacularly tipped over the bar by goalkeeper, Lee Taylor. From the resulting corner, Lee Jones swung the ball in underneath the bar and although Taylor managed to punch clear, there was a suspicion that the ball had already crossed the line.

However, the referee's assistant deemed that the ball had not gone over the line. The visitors took the lead after 17 minutes when Dartford failed to clear a corner. Ben Bray headed the ball goalwards from the edge of the penalty area and despite the penalty area being full of bodies, the ball crept inside the post. Dartford created the better chances for the remainder of the first half but could not find an equaliser. In the second half, there were few noteworthy chances at either end. However, deep into stoppage time, substitute Roy Godden scored his first goal for the Darts when his shot took a deflection before looping over Taylor.
