Dartford were involved in their second successive 1-1 draw when they came from behind to share the points with Erith and Belvedere on Boxing Day.

The first half was a very even affair with Dartford's best chance coming after 23 minutes when a shot from outside the area by Tom Adlington was deflected into the path of Lee Guiver but his effort was blocked by Dean Lee, the Erith goalkeeper, and Simon Roberts follow up effort landed on the roof of the net.

Five minutes before half time, at the other end, a free kick from Chris Whitehouse from fully 45 yards out held up in the wind and Dartford goalkeeper, Steve Williams was relieved to see the ball bounce off his crossbar.

In the second half, the Darts created the better chances and six minutes into the half, Adlington played in Guiver but this time the striker scuffed his shot. Mark Greatorex created two further openings, firstly his corner was met by Lee Jones but his downward header bounced over the crossbar and after 60 minutes, Erith defender Karl Emerick was forced to head another dangerous cross from Greatorex over his own bar.

The visitors took the lead after 67 minutes rather against the run of play. Dartford gave away possession and the ball was played forward to Steve White who held off a challenge from Danny Evans to slide the ball passed Williams.

Dartford pressed for an equaliser and Dave Scott and Chris Arnold both headed over the bar. However with six minutes remaining, the Darts deservedly equalised when Roberts supplied a pinpoint pass to Greatorex and he crossed for Arnold to rifle the ball into the net from close range.
