Dartford recorded their second successive league win on Saturday when they won at Corby on Saturday in a game that had everything. The Darts got off to the perfect start when in only the 2nd minute, Chris Arnold met a cross from Shane Holbrook and forced the ball from six yards out.

After 16 minutes, Dartford increased their lead when Holbrook split the Corby defence with a perfect through ball to Lee Guiver and the Dartford striker fired home from 12 yards. After 38 minutes Dartford appeared to have made the game safe when Holbrook turned from provider to scorer when he hit a low hard shot from 25 yards nut although Des Elliot in the home goal but although the goalkeeper appeared to have the ball covered, he somehow fumbled and the ball went into the net.

However, in the final four minutes if the first half, Corby got right back into the game when first Gareth Mawby headed home a cross from the right and then two minutes later Ashley Warner scored Corby's second with a header from close range.

In the second half, the home side started brightly but could not break down the Dartford defence. After 78 minutes, Corby's Andy Bream fouled Luke Morrish and then proceeded to stamp on the Dartford captain right under the nose of the referee who immediately showed the Corby defender the red card. A minute later, Morrish headed against the Corby crossbar following a corner from Lee Jones.

After 85 minutes the Darts again looked to have secured victory when Lee Guiver broke quickly from defence and passed to new signing from Gravesend, Gavin Rose, who played Arnold in to coolly slot the ball home for his second goal. But Corby struck back with two minutes remaining when substitute Lee Clark netted from close range but Dartford held on to achieve another victory and three more valuable points.

Dartford: Williams, Adlington, Ross (Rose 71 mins), Scott, Morrish, Roberts, Greatorex, Guiver, Arnold (McTaggart 89 mins), Jones and Holbrook. Sub not used: Kyle.
