Dartford and Bashley fought out a well-contested draw in an entertaining game on Monday evening.

The Darts took the lead after six minutes when Ian Ross curled a 20-yard shot into the roof of the net following a free kick on the right.

Bashley equalised after 26 minutes when following a quick free kick, Dartford goalkeeper Steve Williams could only parry a shot from Darren Robson and Craig Davis was first to react to slot the ball home from close range

Bashley had the better of the remainder of the half and both Davis Puckett and Robson struck uprights. In the second half, Dartford had more of the play and their best effort of the half came after 75 minutes when following a strong run and cross from Shane Holbrook, new signing from Tonbridge, Roy Godden hit the post from close range.

Dartford introduced another new signing with 17 minutes remaining, Mike Morgan from Welling, and he put in several telling crosses but they just could not score the winner.
